Speaking & Workshops
Unpacking Aliyah's Missing Teddy Bear!
This workshop is designed for parents, guardians, and educators as a starting point to examine the major themes throughout Aliyah's Missing Teddy Bear and to create meaningful dialogue to support your child/student through their grief journey. Educators and ministry leaders will explore the Social Emotional Learning competencies in order to facilitate conversations of healing and hope.
Start the Conversation
Based on the
Positive Perspectives Activity Book
This workshop will explore each of Aliyah's Positive Perspective Principals, and will give practical strategies to support a child with their emotions. Together we will explore ways to create a safe and supportive environment for children while building that sense of community with the adults.
Kids Grieve Too!
No one can prevent a child's grief, but you can serve as a source of stability and comfort at one of the most crucial times of their life. In this session, participants will explore how social awareness plays a big role in childhood grief and gain additional tools to add to your "helper" toolkit to build strong and resilient children. Together we will explore topics such as showing concern and care for others, expressing gratitude, and recognizing our strength.
